Ever walked in a room only for the conversation to cease and all eyes on you? Ever been somewhere feeling so out of place that you couldn't concentrate? Yeah....that feeling. I've been there. And, I'm sure you have been there too.
There should come a point in your life where you stop ignoring your intuitions and start facing them head on. These feelings didn't occur by chance. All of it was intentional. Every single occurrence. The red flags showed even before the episodes. You saw all of them and chalked it up to coincidence. Why? Familiarity. Loyalty. Fear. But what you counted out was the fact that these things were just the beginning of what ""should be" your exit-- your moment of enlightenment.
No one understands why in these moments. The only thing we're focused on is the way you are feeling; the anger, the sadness, the humiliation and other feelings you just can't put into words. Honey... I've been there. It's not fun. Not only that it mentally demoralizes you to the point where you begin to question yourself more and more. How could being uncomfortable put me into a position to win?
James 1:2-3 says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."
You probably read that and thought how can I even get there when my faith is wavering and it seems as if there is no way out? Maintaining the mindset that you can persevere is easier said than done. Especially when you have become comfortable being uncomfortable. And when you reach that point, I want you to remember these two things:
- God will ALWAYS meet you where you are.
- God will NEVER leave you, nor forsake you.
